Michael A. DiMayo
ACI, CFP, CLU, ChFC
Michael A. DiMayo, ACI, CFP, CLU, ChFC, Principal, founded The Affluence Group after departing from The Hartford Life Insurance Company, where he was the leading U.S. agent for 28 of his 29 years. While at The Hartford, Mike quickly rose through the ranks to become a regional sales manager for the Baltimore office, along the way receiving numerous awards and accolades for his dedication, drive and years of service.
Mike was the recipient of the Ring of Excellence award, which recognized his lifetime achievement for an unprecedented number of years serving The Hartford and its clients. He also was a member of the Red Jacket Club, President’s Club, Chairman’s Club, Elite Manager Club and Premier Manager Club.
In 2009 Mike co-founded Oxford Risk Management Group, a domestic captive management and insurance company. Oxford has grown significantly over the years and has become recognized as one of the most respected captive management firms in the country.
Today, Oxford insures multiple lines of coverage through it’s “A” Rated fronting insurers, and is one of the largest captive organizations of it’s type.
Mike is a graduate and alumni donor of Franklin & Marshall College. Mike and his wife, Ellen serve as Chairman of the Board for the Casey Cares Foundation, a non-profit organization providing uplifting programs for critically ill children. They also support The Avalon Foundation and Talbot County Hospice.
