1979–2008 – Mike was the leading U.S. agent for The Hartford Life Insurance Company for 28 of his 29 years. While at The Hartford, Mike received numerous awards and accolades for his dedication, drive, and years of service. He was the recipient of the Ring of Excellence Award, which recognized his lifetime achievement for an unprecedented number of years serving The Hartford and its clients. He was also a member of the Red Jacket Club, President’s Club, Chairman’s Club, Elite Manager Club, and Premier Manager Club.
In 2001, Mike founded The Affluence Group, LLC, a leading life insurance consulting firm providing unique insurance solutions to the nation’s most successful agents, brokers, and their affluent clientele.
2010–2018 – Mike was co-founder of Oxford Risk Management Group, LLC, a captive management and insurance company. Under his leadership, Oxford grew significantly and was recognized as one of the most respected captive management firms in the country. Oxford was eventually acquired in 2018.
2018–2025 – Mike remained with Oxford Risk Management Group, LLC as Managing Director, guiding its growth into one of the largest captive management firms in the country.
2026–Present – Mike continues to be one of the nation’s most highly sought-after insurance consultants and focuses his practice on the design and implementation of bespoke, life insurance based solutions for affluent clients throughout the country.
Mike is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College. He and his wife serve as Chairman of the Board and Board Member, respectively, for the Casey Cares Foundation, a nonprofit organization providing uplifting programs for critically ill children. Through their family foundation, they also proudly support The Avalon Foundation and Talbot Hospice. In his spare time, Mike plays rhythm guitar for High Voltage, the nation’s premier AC/DC tribute band.
